At over 50 events across Germany, we’ll be screening the best films from the renowned Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival, which takes place every year in early November in Canada.

About the Banff Tour

The Banff Tour brings the best adventure films from the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival to the big screen. The festival takes place every November in the small town of Banff in the Canadian Rockies – and has been running for over 45 years, growing into a beloved gathering for fans and filmmakers alike.

To make sure outdoor film fans around the world don't miss out, a selection of the best films hits the road after the festival and goes on a major world tour – including a stop near you.

The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour screens in over 40 countries. Programs are curated by local event organizers, so there is no single unified BANFF Tour program.

The Jeanne and Peter Lougheed Building (building on the left-hand side) is Banff Centre's media headquarters. It houses a full production house capable of creating professional content for a variety of platforms. Few production houses in the world have so many facilities in house, and that’s what makes it such a cool spot.
